INSPIRATION
The idea to make this shirt came from the stories of one of Petri's founding great-grandfathers about the New York of yesteryear that were passed down through his family. Thus was born the desire to recreate the true button-down oxford shirt of the past by restoring its original strength, simplicity and elegance to this iconic shirt. Hence the name Broadway: a reference to the eccentric and unique character of one of Manhattan's most famous streets.

FABRIC DESCRIPTION
The Oxford is made from pure cotton yarns, which give the appearance of a 'basket' weave. This is enhanced by the use of thinner, coloured warp yarns and a thick, soft, white weft yarn. This is how the knit takes on the typical polka dot look.
It was born in Scotland in the 19th century, more precisely in a Scottish factory that decided to name its four types of fabrics after the most prestigious university institutions of the time: Harvard, Cambridge, Yale and Oxford.
WASH
Wash the shirt at 30 degrees.
