INSPIRATION

The name Harvard recalls a 'preppy' style of clothing, simple and sober. In fact, the idea of creating this shirt was to revisit this very style, giving it more sportiness and personality, thus giving it a slightly rock and a slightly bohemian soul, in perfect PETRI style.

- Natural fabric, no harmful substances.

- Corozo buttons, 100% natural and ecological, are made from washers obtained from the dried nut of tropical palm trees from Ecuador.

FABRIC DESCRIPTION

Oxford is created with pure cotton yarns, which give the effect of a 'basket' weave to the eye. This play is enhanced by the use of thinner, coloured threads for the warp and a coarse, soft, white weft thread. This is how the shirt takes on its typical dotted appearance.

It originated in Scotland in the 19th century, more precisely in a Scottish factory which decided to name its four types of fabric after the most prestigious university institutions of the time: Harvard, Cambridge, Yale and Oxford.
