INSPIRATION
The inspiration starts by retracing the journey made on horseback by one of PETRI's two founders in the "Rua de Tabaco," precisely in the Viñales Valley 200 km west of Havana. A fantastic place, a UNESCO heritage site, full of tobacco plantations, where most of the peasants wore old Cuban military shirts.

- All fabrics used by PETRI are production leftovers from the best Italian companies.
- Natural fabric, no harmful substances.
- Corozo buttons, 100% natural and eco-friendly, are made from washers taken from the dried nut of tropical palm from Ecuador.
- Plastic free.
- All PETRI shirts are handcrafted, in a small artisan workshop in Turin.

FABRIC DESCIPTION
Soft like jersey with the texture of a heavy twill. One of the most original twill fabrics ever.
The roots of the birth of this fabric go back as far as the Renaissance era when a very similar fabric was used to make capes and overalls. The name currently used, at one time in Renaissance France, was used to designate a particular woolen cloak.
It is a twill weave fabric that creates a diagonal of about 60°, very durable and dry-handed.
Gabardine is perfect for those who want a refined garment, delicate in color, with innate elegance and a strong sporty character.
The gabardine fabric was made famous by actors such as Humphrey Bogart who wore the timeless gabardine trench coat.

WASH
Preferable first dry cleaning. Wash the shirt without ever exceeding 30 degrees.
