FABRIC DESCRIPTION

Fresco Lana (or Frescolana) is a lightweight wool fabric made from combed merino wool yarns. It has an even surface and one of its main characteristics is that it does not crease.

It is a sartorial fabric resulting from the very fine processing of merino wool, which allows even very light panels of fabric to be obtained with a smooth hand. It appears as a compact fabric, also called combed because of the processing.

Merino wool has the ability to quickly adapt to body temperature and thus be very warm or, conversely, very cool when needed. This type of wool is particularly sought after for its fineness, which is due to the fact that the hair of a merino sheep is thinner than the hair of a common sheep.

Fresh wool fabrics are cooler than cotton and softer to the touch than linen, a winning alternative when it comes to getting your summer wardrobe in order.

WASH

Select a washing programme for wool at 40°C. Alternatively, a cycle for delicates at 40°C is also suitable. Do not use the spin cycle, otherwise the wool fibres will quickly become felted.
